How to Apply Your Coupons
The idea of couponing is to buy products when they are at their lowest price, and use coupons to save you even more.
This is how it works:
Stacking Coupons
Usually when a retailer offers the consumer a store coupon they can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon. Many stores offer store coupons: Martins, Kroger, Target, Rite Aid and CVS. Stacking coupons is a good way to drive down the sale price of an item even lower for added savings!!!
Example:
(1) Nivea Body Wash - $2.50 (sale price)
-$1 off any Nivea body wash (manufacturer coupon)
-$1 off any Nivea body wash (store coupon)
$2.50 (sale price) - $2.00 (coupons) = Final Price: 50¢ for (1) body wash!!

Buy 1 Get 1 Sale
B1G1 sales at certain stores are done differently. Some have also changed their policy on how many coupons can be used on a B1G1. Normally, however many items you are buying is the amount of coupons you can use.
Example:
(2) Nivea Body Wash - $5.00 each (sale price)
-(2) $1 off any Nivea body wash (manufacturer coupon)
-(2) $1 off any Nivea body wash (store coupon)
$5.00 (sale price for (2)) - $4.00 (coupons)= Final Price: $1.00 for (2) Nivea Body Wash
Some stores on a B1G1 sale will ring up one product for the full price and the second for nothing. While other stores on a B1G1 sale will ring the products up half price for both.
Example: Rite Aid
Example: Rite Aid
B1G1 Nivea Body Wash - $5.00
1st - $5.00
2nd - $0.00
(So in this case you will always grab both products because not taking the second product will be a waste of the B1G1 sale!!!!)
Example: Kroger
B1G1 Nivea Body Wash - $5.00
1st - $2.50
2nd - $2.50
(So if you only need one product or don't want to spend the total sale price you can pick one product up for only half the sale price!!)
****Rite Aid and Target has recently changed their coupon policies on B1G1 sales. Basically you cannot use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale to make both products free. Also when you buy a product on a B1G1 only (1) cents off coupon can be used. So make sure you understand before you go!!
